Vice President, Human Resources | Pacific Gas and Electric Company
Mary King is Vice President, Human Resources, for Pacific Gas and Electric Company. In this capacity, she oversees labor relations and leads the company's HR business partner team, which supports the development and execution of workforce strategies for PG&E's lines of business.
Mary joined PG&E in 2009 as Principal Negotiator, and has held numerous leadership positions in Human Resources, leading PG&E's Recruiting department and serving as Senior Director of Human Resources Delivery. She has also served as Chief of Staff to PG&E President Chris Johns and John Simon, Senior Vice President, Human Resources.
Previously, she held positions at Calpine in Middletown, California and Indianapolis Power and Light in Indiana. She began her career in the United States Army as platoon leader, executive officer and captain. While in Indiana, Mary earned a J.D. from Indiana University School of Law. She holds a B.S. in social sciences from the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York.
