Roland I. Trevino is vice president of Gas Engineering and Design for Pacific Gas and Electric's Gas Operations organization. He oversees PG&E's transmission and distribution pipeline assets, including asset management and operational plans for company gas storage assets; storage well and reservoir usage; and training and outreach to first responders, with a focus on public safety and system reliability.

Trevino first joined PG&E as senior director of Gas Operations' Asset Knowledge Management organization, and was responsible for the capture and maintenance of construction and operational records related to the gas transmission system, MAOP (Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure) validation project and implementation of the Gas Transmission Asset Management Project (GTAM).

Prior to joining PG&E, Trevino spent 22 years at El Paso Pipeline Group, where he held a variety of leadership roles within the Engineering and Operations organizations. His most recent assignment with El Paso involved managing a team responsible for the design and construction of maintenance capital and expansion of business projects throughout El Paso's Western Pipeline region.

Trevino holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis., an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and he completed structural engineering graduate studies at the University of Texas at El Paso.
